In the past, the “Transformers” star was very candid about her insecurities and anxieties, even sharing with the media her fear that she might be schizophrenic and die like Marilyn Monroe, her idol, whose face she had tattooed on her arm. In a recent interview, Fox reveals she was also afraid of flying until not long ago, a fear she managed to overcome thanks to Britney Spears and her music, as Teen Hollywood informs.

According to the star, whose latest movie, “Jennifer’s Body,” opened recently to a very poor reception, says she knows for a fact she is not meant to die whilst listening to Britney Spears. This, it seems, is the only thing that has helped her overcome her fear of flying, so, now, when she boards a plane, she just puts a Spears album on her music player and keeps the panic attack at bay.

“I developed that [fear of flying] when I turned 20. All of a sudden I got really afraid to get on airplanes. I had to come up with a way to deal with it because I didn’t want to have panic attacks every time I get on a plane. I know for a fact it’s not in my destiny to die listening to a Britney Spears album, so I always put that on in my [headphones] when I’m flying because I know it wont [sic] crash if I’ve got Britney on.” Megan Fox reportedly said in a recent interview.

Still, as fans must know, this wouldn’t be the first time that Fox says something that comes off as ridiculous. As also noted above, earlier this year, she was insisting she might have schizophrenia like Marilyn Monroe and that she lived in fear it might be her untimely end – even if Marilyn suffered from manic depression, or bipolar disorder, which is a condition that can be controlled through medication.

“I basically read every book ever written about Marilyn Monroe. I could end up like that because I constantly struggle with the idea that I think I’m a borderline personality – or that I have bouts of mild schizophrenia. I definitely have some kind of mental problem and I haven’t pinpointed what it is.” Megan was saying a while back.
