Marvel vs. Capcom fans are in for some major treats, as Capcom announced three big things about the upcoming Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate of the Two Worlds fighting game, including two new fighters, a release date and details about the Collector's Edition.

Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is shaping up to be one of the biggest fighting games in recent times, and Capcom already expects it to sell more than its Street Fighter IV iteration.

As such, the company has now announced quite a lot of new details about the game, including new characters and a final release date.

Two new characters have now been revealed, but they aren't exactly famous ones, as not a lot of regular gamers will recognize She-Hulk and Zero.

While the first, as you can guess by the name, is the female counterpart of angry green giant the Hulk, the second is the mentor of Mega Man from Mega Man X.

Next up, the Collector's Edition of Marvel vs. Capcom 3 has also been leaked by GameStop and confirmed by Capcom.

Those who are willing to spend $69.99 on this special edition will be able to enjoy exclusive access to two new characters, Resident Evil's Jill Valentine and Marvel's Shuma-Gorath, which will be released four weeks after launch as paid DLC.

Besides the special characters, a prequel comic and a one-month subscription to Marvel Digital comics service will be included.

Those who pre-order it at GameStop will also get collectible console decals featuring Ryu, Wolverine, Dante or Deadpool.

Last but not least, Capcom also revealed the release date of Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of the Two Worlds, as the fighting game will reach stores on February 15, right after Valentine's Day, in North America, and February 18 in Europe.

The game will appear for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
