The idea of turning Microsoft's Xbox 360 or Sony's PS3 Slim gaming consoles into portable gaming systems isn't exactly a new one (after all, we've seen plenty of modders create all sorts of such products), but the people over at Projectgaems seem to be the first ones to have come up with a solution available for all consumers out there, namely the G155, a self-contained system that will allow users to easily take along either of the two gaming consoles just about wherever they might go.

The G155's comes packed with an integrated LED HD display equipped with a HDMI interface, enabling users to connect their Xbox or PS3 Slim to the screen in a very fast and easy manner, pretty much the same way they would do to a TV set.

Moreover, in order to offer the proper audio experience required in order to enjoy any video game, the G155 also comes equipped with stereo speakers and dual headphone jacks, letting users either play out loud or enjoy their favorite titles without disturbing other people around them.

It's also interesting to note that the G155's rugged case protects all of one's gaming gear from minor impacts, while in the same time letting users store controllers, power supplies, and other accessories while traveling.

“This product launch will allow the 80 million plus console videogamers to break the shackles of their TV and play videogames and movies anywhere and anytime they want.” commented Glenn Hoogerwerf, Chairman and CEO of GAEMS.

“Based upon the unbelievable interest that we have received from hardcore gamers, consumers, retailers, and videogame developers we know that we have a product that will be a game changer,” the company's CEO added.

Unfortunately, for the time being, the G155 cab only be pre-ordered for around 280 US dollars, the company revealing the fact that all orders and payments will be processed starting after April 20, 2011, with delivery set to follow at a yet unspecified date.
