Maingear might be well known among PC enthusiasts for its high-performance and outrageously high-priced systems such as the Shift, but the company also produces a series of more budget friendly solutions, like the Vybe, which was recently redesigned to feature a new chassis and better hardware components.

The new systems are built around Intel's Sandy Bridge processors and use either P67 or Z68 motherboards as well as graphics cards from Nvidia.

Maingear's initial lineup includes three pre-configured models known as the S, SE and SS, the first one of these starting at $949.

For this much money users will get an Intel Core i5-2310 processor overclocked to 3.3GHz (3.7GHz Turbo), which is seconded by 4GB of DDR3 memory, a 1TB hard drive and an Nvidia GeForce GTS 450 graphics card.

The Vybe S is the only system of the three that can't be customized by its users, but ships the same day as the order is placed, so this is a good options for those of you that are in a hurry to start gaming.

Moving to the two other Vybe desktops available from Maingear, these also come factory overclocked, the Vybe SE running an Intel Core i5-2500 processor with a base clock of 3.7GHz, while the Core i7-2600K installed inside the Vybe SS comes overclocked to more than 4.4GHz.

In addition to the fast Intel processors, the Vybe SS also offers liquid cooling and an mSATA SSD to take advantage of Intel’s Smart Response Technology.

“Businesses are demanding more value and power for their hardware buys and the Maingear's new Vybe powered by Intel second generation Core processor technology delivers on both counts.” said Michelle Johnston, General Manager, Channel Platforms & Strategy Division

“The updated Vybe systems provide Maingear customers the ability to get top of the line performance at different price points,” concluded the company's rep.

All the three Vybe systems are available right now from Maingear's website. As mentioned previously, the Vybe S is priced at $949, while the two other desktops in this product family start at $1,129 and $1,699, respectively.
