With the cover athlete for Madden NFL 16 revealed yesterday, the promotional campaign for the new American football sim goes into full gear, and EA Sports is announcing that it is offering a range of Ultimate Team rewards for the coming title to those who are willing to spend more time with Madden NFL 15.

The official announcement explains that gamers can get access to the new items by making progress with Total Season and Solo Challenge and the sets associated with them, by completing Master, Road Master and Champion sets and by using Season Collectibles to create Season Vault sets.

The rewards that will be added to Madden NFL 16 include more coins, player items and contracts, with some of them delivered in the coming months and others added when the Ultimate Team mode of the new title is accessed for the first time.

The official announcement explains, "Madden NFL 16 Ultimate Team players will be rewarded with Coins based on the number of Head to Head Season games played, Solo Challenges won, and Sets completed in Madden NFL 15 Ultimate Team."

EA Sports wants to make sure that players stay engaged with the current version of the title for as long as possible, and the rewards offered will probably be very attractive to the most dedicated of fans.

Madden NFL 16 will add new air supremacy mechanics

When Odell Beckham Jr. was revealed as the cover athlete, the development team also released a short video associated with the game, which offers the first look at the improved engine and the new mechanics.

EA Sports says that for Madden NFL 16, it will focus on the concept of air supremacy, which will influence the way both offensive and defensive plays are created and then executed by a team.

Over the course of the coming months, the team will offer more details about each feature of the new title and the changes they will be making to the Ultimate Team mode.

Madden NFL 16 will be launched on August 25 on the Xbox One from Microsoft and the PlayStation 4 from Sony.

A Deluxe Edition of the game allows players to get 36 more packs for the Ultimate Team mode and access to a Playmaker content drop when the title goes live.
