EA Sports has announced that the demo for Madden NFL 11 will be released on the PlayStation Network and on the Xbox Live Arcade on the 27th of July. It will be a full fledged demo, not like the one minute quarters that plagued Madden NFL 10's trial version last year. It seems that the developers is really making a push on the market with this new version of the popular American football title, with the richer online component and new features that the final title is set to include.

The demo for Madden NFL 11 will contain two teams, the Indianapolis Colts and the New York Jets. The match will be played on the Jets Stadium at the simulated time of 13:00 in clear weather. American football fans will be able to enjoy the game in four difficulty levels, Rookie, Pro, All-Pro and All-Madden and will be able to tweak of AI and gameplay sliders. The big good news is that EA Sports has decided to let the quarters last five minutes in this demo, allowing players to really get the feel of what the full version will offer.

Fans of the franchise will get to experience some of the new big features of the title like the game-planning and Gameflow. According to Gamespot, those who play the demo will be able to create a full game plan before the match begins, like in the full version, with the only limitation being that there will be only the playbooks of the Jets and Colts to choose from and not all 32 of them.

Gameflow is a new option that streamlines gameplay by selecting and describing offensive and defensive plans for the gamer, giving much more of a TV live transmission feel to what is happening on-screen. The demo of Madden NFL 11 will also contain full commentary from Gus Johnson and Chris Collinsworth and contextualized stadium and team chants.

Furthermore, the creation and save of a game plan in demo will unlock an achievement in the final version of the game called Master Strategist. Just playing the trial version will net players a Madden Ultimate Team card of the Jets Stadium. Madden NFL 11 will be released on the 10th of August on the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360.
