In a world where peripherals are running around without any supervisors, Mad Catz carved a piece for itself, setting loose, instead of chasing as its namesake would be tempted to, such things as gaming mice.

There is much to do on the IT industry for a maker of peripherals, gaming gadgets, adapters and other such things.

Mad Catz proved this over and over, when it put together and sent out such things as Nintendo 3DS Accessories, Headphones, Cyborg Keyboards, etc.

All things considered, it would have been stranger if the company had let time pass without some new update instead of announcing an albino mouse.

To be more specific, Mad Catz issued a new, and fairly succinct, press release in which a condensed description is given of its latest mouse.

Part of its portfolio of gaming solutions, the newcomer bears the name of Cyborg R.A.T. Albino Gaming Mouse and, as its name suggests, is colored pure white.

Nonetheless, even thus colored there is no lack of special design features, like an enhanced 6,400 DPI sensor, 3 palm rests, 5 programmable buttons, 3 cyborg modes and a custom weight system, among other things.

“Our range of Cyborg R.A.T. Gaming Mice continues to perform impressively at retail and show sustainable longevity in the range.” said Darren Richardson, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Mad Catz Interactive, Inc.

“We recently announced compatibility with Mac OS via a free download and we are excited to introduce the special edition Albino model, which we believe will allow us to continue our strong growth in this sector and keep us at the forefront of gaming technology.”

Prospective customers can find the product page here. Unfortunately, even though the formal release was made, Mad Catz did not actually provide any pricing details, though it did make a point of mentioning compatibility with both PCs and Apple MAC systems.
