14 DAY TRIAL // The stars came out last night for the MTV Movie Awards 2011 to honor the best of the best of movies released in 2010, as voted by fans. One of the highlights of the evening was Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis’ gig as presenters.
The two were at the awards show, held at the Universal Studios’ Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, Calif., to present the award for Best Male Performance and, of course, to promote a film.
The two star in the upcoming romantic comedy “Friends with Benefits,” about two best friends who decide they may as well add another dimension to their friendship by sleeping with each other – only to find out how they really feel.
Because Timberlake’s 4-year romance with Jessica Biel ended shortly after “Friends with Benefits” ended shooting, there’s been some talk about how he cheated on her with Mila.
Which is precisely why the two denied the rumor onstage, at last night’s ceremony, as the video below will show.
“We have never dated,” Justin said on the microphone. “Yeah, that’s right,” Mila stepped in, “we’re like brother and sister.”
In fact, they said, they were such good friends who were so comfortable with each other, that they could even “do this,” as Justin said, going behind Mila’s back and grabbing her breasts.
“And I can do this,” she retorted, grabbing his crotch.
It was a fun moment and the audience seemed to enjoy it. In fact, several movie-oriented publications include it among the highlights of the evening, which did come with some lows as well, especially since host Jason Sudeikis went for overkill on Arnold Schwarzenegger jokes.
After the nominees for Best Male performance were announced, Mila and Justin called out the winner: Robert Pattinson for his role as brooding vampire Edward Cullen in “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.”
