When Conan O’Brien was announced as host of the 2014 MTV Movie Awards, fans knew to expect the gala to be a blast. And Coco delivered: his opening speech was hilarious, his appearances on stage were all funny, and he also killed in pre-taped skits.

One such skit, dubbed a “Special Presentation,” was the video below, which sees Coco meeting with MTV bosses to announce his intention of making this year’s edition of the gala a record-breaking one.

Because the bosses told him that he couldn’t top Jean Claude Van Damme’s feat of bringing more than 9 celebrities to cameo in one single video, Coco said he would do even better, that he would set the record for 50 cameos from recognizable stars.

So he set to work. By the end of the video, he managed to harass, lie to, and annoy 49 celebrities, including Taylor Swift, Demi Moore, Andy Samberg, Seth Rogen, Adam Sandler, Russell Crowe, Emma Watson, Jack Nicholson, Ashton Kutcher, Jessica Alba, Tom Arnold, and even Grumpy Cat, the famous sour-faced feline that is one of the most famous cats online.

When he drew the line, Coco realized that he had failed at his mission because he hadn’t gotten 50 celebrities to appear in his segment. Check out the video below to see how he got out of that predicament.
