While there are still a few hours left until Nvidia makes official the GTX 560, MSI has already sent out an announcement detailing its GF114 product line, the Taiwanese manufacturer releasing no less than three solutions based on Nvidia's latest graphics core.

All these feature MSI's custom Twin Frozr II design that makes use of “military class” components as well as an advanced cooling solution.

This means that the whole card is covered by one massive heatsink that draws the heat away from the GPU via four rather thick heatpipes connected to a nickel plated copper base.

On top of the heatsink, MSI has placed two PWM controlled fans, the whole assembly offering temperatures by up to 20°C lower than the reference design, according to the company.

In addition, the solution should be able to deliver better acoustics than Nvidia's stock cooler.

All these advancements in cooling increase the overclocking potential of the board, all the video cards coming with improved clocks.

Sadly, MSI doesn't inform us about the specific frequencies of each card, but a hierarchy is pretty simple to establish judging by the model name.

The least powerful of the cards is called the N560GTX-Ti Twin Frozr II/OC and is followed by the N560GTX-Ti Twin Frozr II/SOC.

The third and highest performing board is dubbed known as N560GTX-Ti Twin Frozr II Golden Edition and judging by its name it probably features a core clock close to 1GHz.

GF104 is cable of achieving even higher frequencies, as an Asus GTX 560 DirectCu II Top showed us when an overclocker managed to push it to 1050MHz.

All the video cards are bundled together with MSI's Afterburner tuning software that allows for the clocks as well as the operating voltage to be raised to further improve the overclocking potential of the boards.

The OC and the SOC versions of the N560GTX-Ti Twin Frozr II will be launched today while the Golden Edition is slated to arrive at a later date.
