There's no doubt about it now. Motorola V9 has taken another step in the process of becoming available on the communications market. FCC has given its approval for the capabilities of this handset and we will be seeing it pretty soon in shops.

MOTORAZR V9 comes equipped with several evolved features when compared to previous models from this range of products. It has two display screens, one of 2.2 inches and an external one of 2.0 inches. The internal one is capable of supporting a resolution of up to 240 x 320 pixels and 262k colors.

Other specifications for this clamshell also include a 2-megapixel camera with 8x digital zoom. One feature which will prove to be highly useful is that MOTORAZR V9 is capable of supporting 3G HSDPA connectivity. This means that data transfer rates can go up to 3.6 Mbps, more than enough to satisfy even the most demanding expectations.

The phone comes with 45MB of internal memory, which can be expanded up to 2GB through a microSD card. Moreover, connectivity is available through Bluetooth technology and USB 2.0, as most evolved handsets currently bring.

What might turn out to be the most appealing feature about MOTORAZR V9 is the fact that it comes with even slimmer measurements than the previous models from this line of phones. With only 11.9 mm in thickness, this clamshell is among the thinnest phones. After all, this is the feature which has drawn the interest of people with previous models, so why shouldn't it turn out as a huge success now too? In fact, the design lines are very much similar, as it did Motorola much good, with 50 million worldwide sales for the RAZR concept.

MOTORAZR V9 will be available starting with the third quarter of year 2007. The estimate price that this handset will come at has not been revealed until now.
