Motorola finally announced the retail debut of MOTO Z8, the so-called "Media Monster" cell phone that intends to bring unequalable mobile entertainment experience. The kick-slider phone is for now available only in Spain (through Telef?nica, via Movistar), but other regions of Europe and Asia are to follow in the nearest future. An integral entertainment center, MOTO Z8 is an exclusive handset featuring mobile TV, video and music.

Allen Burnes, Corporate vice President and General Manager at Motorola Mobile Devices, EMEA and India, declared: "We are excited to deliver our media monster to mobile entertainment fans around the world, beginning with Spain. With the Z8, consumers can listen to music, download video, create blogs and record and store memories all from the best multimedia platforms available today."

Mobile entertainment enthusiasts will probably love Motorola's Z8. Its wide QVGA 16 million color TFT screen is perfect for a high quality viewing experience in portrait or landscape mode and the multimedia adventure is enhanced with S9 Bluetooth stereo headphones. A full-length film from Universal Pictures, "The Bourne Identity", is offered with MOTO Z8 so that customers can enjoy a good movie right away. Other multimedia applications are available (like BSkyB, CNN and Podcast.com) for a complete experience.

Besides the approximately 80MB of free internal user memory, 4GB MicroSD memory cards are optionally available and can be expanded up to 32GB. This will alow you to have on MOTO Z8 up to 12 full-length motion pictures or about 70 hours of music. The phone uses the HSDPA protocol, which makes internet downloads very fast. On-board dual processors will let you surf the Web and listen to music at the same time with ease.

The video camera incorporated in Z8 is a 2.0 megapixel one featuring a 8x zoom and lumi LED light, allowing users to record and view enjoyable moments with a high video capture quality and a 30 frames per second playback.

As we said, MOTO Z8 "Media Monster" will pretty soon make its debut in other countries too, so if you don't live in Spain and want this super cell phone you just need to wait a bit. Or move to Spain, if you're desperate.
