Lost Planet: Extreme Condition is a third-person shooter video game created by Capcom for Microsoft's Xbox 360 and PC. Produced by Keiji Inafune, the creator of the Onimusha and Mega Man series, Lost Planet is a gaming masterpiece introducing a new genre: puzzle-shooter. Today, Capcom has rolled out a fact sheet for the PC version of Lost Planet. Here it is below:

Lost Planet is by all means a next-generation title, sporting some pretty sophisticated visuals, with a razor sharp level of detail as advanced light sourcing is used to ensure a realistic presentation that enhances every explosion, smoke and particle effect. Akrid creatures in blistering weather conditions across vast snowfields make the gamer feel like he/she really is on a hostile alien planet, with blazing volcanic areas or frozen cave-palaces.

In Lost Planet, every enemy, with the exception of bosses, can be slain with head on combat, as all of them have weak points which makes killing them much easier. Enemies also provide players with what they need to stay warm, right after they've died (the enemies, that is). So the game becomes a mix of killing, and learning how to kill more efficiently. If you're not planning to buy the game (although you should plan it 'cause it's great!), you can download the demo for the PC version RIGHT HERE and see what it's all about.
