Apparently on a roll on the audio market, Logitech has again taken the microphone to reveal the Z623, a high-end, 2.1 speaker system that, when paired with any PC or means of enjoying multimedia or gaming, brings the benefits of high-quality audio deserving of THX certification.

Logitech has already unveiled the H760 wireless headset and the noise-isolating Ultimate Ears earphones.

This new speaker system has a total power of 200 watts and the obligatory controls on the right speaker satellite, for volume and bass, so that end-users may set up their sound environment to their liking.

Basically, the Z623 speaker system is a THX-certified, high-quality 2.1 audio solution that can be paired with not just PCs, but also DVD players, TVs, digital music players and game consoles.

"Whether you're listening to rock music, watching a Steven Spielberg flick, or playing your favorite video game, the experience is always richer when you get engrossed in the audio," said Mark Schneider, vice president and general manager of Logitech's audio business unit.

"That's why we built the Logitech Speaker System Z623 - so you can lose yourself in whatever you're into,” he explained.

“For DVD aficionados, music enthusiasts and hardcore gamers, the Z623 system delivers powerful audio for your room. And with THX certification, you know you're getting the best," Schneider concluded.

For ease of use, the hardware maker implemented RCA and 3.5 mm inputs, as well as a built-in headphone jack.

“So you can set up the system the way you want, Logitech includes all the inputs and cables you need to get great sound from up to three audio devices,” states the press release.

Basically, the Logitech Z623 is a, more or less, universal, high-quality audio solution for multimedia and gaming enjoyment. Shipments are slated to start next month, in Europe and the US, for $150.
