Actress Lisa Rinna is living a plastic surgery nightmare: after getting her upper lip fixed, she’s now dealing with another problem, in that it’s not healing properly and she’s afraid even to smile lest it should explode.

In October this year, the star announced she’d undergone surgery again to fix her “duck lips,” a result of a botched intervention she underwent when she was younger and that turned permanent, to her desperation.

After many years of suffering and media criticism, Lisa decided to do something about her lip and she had it fixed, but it seems she’s not having any luck now either.

The National Enquirer says Lisa is desperate because her upper lip is one the verge of popping. She’s even afraid to smile, the tab says – and even has photos of the actress’ horrendous new intervention and its results.

“The former Melrose Place star, 47, recently underwent a procedure to remove silicone from her lips that had been implanted back in 1986. But now her recovery hasn’t gone well – and she’s terrified that if she smiles too much her lips might bust open!” the Enquirer writes.

A close friend of Lisa’s confirms this for the tab, saying the actress is terrified she’ll be left like this for good. She did, however, know it would take months for scars from the latest intervention to heal.

“Her doctors told Lisa it’s going to take months longer for her to heal. Lisa’s trying not to talk or even smile for long for fear of popping open her lips,” says a pal.

Apparently, Lisa’s been complaining about it to her friends. “I look like I’m mad all the time, but I’m just trying to get my lips to heal properly!” she reportedly told to people close to her.

Dr. Anthony Youn, who did not treat Lisa but is familiar with the procedures now done in Hollywood, says there’s a chance she may never recover.

“Any time you have anything permanent injected into the lips, you are playing Russian roulette with your face. There are serious risks,” he says for the Enquirer.
