Music games are becoming more and more popular these days because they offer a great experience that can be shared with friends and family. Envisioning yourself as your favorite artists and performing your favorite tracks is something that a lot of gamers find extremely interesting, considering the big sales that titles such as Rock Band or Guitar Hero are experiencing.

This success spurred other companies such as Microsoft to release their own music titles, for example Lips, which appeared as a response to Sony's SingStar franchise. Lips has sold pretty well and, with the big North American company partnering with music labels, has received a lot of DLC (Downloadable Content).

Now, as spring is just around the corner, Microsoft has announced the upcoming track packs that will appear onto the Xbox Live Marketplace for any Lips owner to buy. And it seems that the company has pulled all the stops, announcing three great songs from Grammy-award winning band Coldplay, along with other tracks from groups such as The Rasmus or The Fray. Here's the complete release schedule for the month to come.

Available Now: Speed Up – Funkerman How To Save A Life – The Fray Swing Life Away – Rise Against

Available on February 27: The Adventure – Angels and Airwaves Amber – 311 In The Shadows – The Rasmus

Available on March 6: Hook Me Up – The Veronicas Lips of an Angel – Hinder Shake It – Metro Station

Available on March 13: The Scientist – Coldplay Speed of Sound – Coldplay In My Place – Coldplay

Also, at the beginning of March Lips will see a title update, which will bring improved scoring, better vibrato detection and introduce global leaderboards so that players will get to see who has the best voice compared to them.
