A judge has recently ordered Lindsay Lohan to wear an alcohol-monitoring device on her ankle, also called a SCRAM bracelet, for claims she’d violated the terms of her probation stemming from an older drunk-driving incident. Since then, the actress has managed to keep her bracelet hidden from prying eyes, only to unveil it now – for a cause, AceShowbiz can confirm.

Fans of the actress and all gossip lovers must know that Lindsay is not really that thrilled about the idea of having to wear the SCRAM device, a thing she said herself over the weekend, when she mockingly pled with Chanel to “bling” it. So far, she’s kept it hidden under larger jeans and high boots, but it could very well be that she also had a plan for how to make the most of this rather unpleasant occurrence.

As per ongoing reports, Lohan has struck a deal with a photo agency, offering it the exclusivity for the first shots of her with her court-appointed piece of jewelry. In return, the agency has agreed to donate a share of the money it will make by selling it to a charity of Lindsay’s choice. The pics have not been shot by just any kind of paparazzo, for it was celebrity photographer Tyler Shields himself who took them, it’s being said. He will also include them in his upcoming book, “The Dirty Side of Glamour.”

“In one shot, Lindsay looks comfortable with her SCRAM bracelet as she reclines on a white sofa in a rolled up jeans which clearly show the ankle tag. She is pictured writing in a Notepad with her laptop opens beside her. Through a statement, the ‘Mean Girls’ actress revealed, ‘To alleviate the chase to get the first shot of the scram bracelet, it was a good decision to supply one to the public.’ Tyler, additionally, told People, ‘Lindsay is amazing to work with, we have done it a few times and each time it gets better!’” the aforementioned e-zine writes.

The undisclosed charity Lindsay has chosen to help by selling the rights to the first pictures of her SCRAM bracelet is one that deals with alcohol education treatment. Since she’s wearing the device precisely of her own troubles with alcohol, the jokes almost write themselves, TMZ points out, saying, “Other than her own, we assume.”
