Natalie Portman did grueling training for years for her role in “Black Swan” and is believed to be a consummate thespian, who is never anything but professional. With all this, Lindsay Lohan believes she should have been considered first for the part.

As fans must know, in Aronofsky’s “Black Swan,” Portman portrays an up and coming ballerina who must overcome a series of obstacles to prove she has what it takes to be a star.

The journey is as emotional as it’s harrowing and painful to watch. If you ask Lohan, she could have done just as good a job as Natalie did in the role, Us Magazine writes.

Before she went under house arrest, Lindsay spent a weekend in Miami for a piece in Plum Miami magazine, as we also noted earlier today.

The interview that was supposed to happen never went down, prompting writer Jacqueline Powers to write a story about how much of a delusional diva the once-famous actress is today.

As per the aforementioned glossy, Lindsay told Powers that she “took ballet until she was 19 and was indignant that she was not considered for the movie Black Swan.”

Powers also writes about how Lindsay would down glass after glass of wine while preaching to her about sobriety and swearing she was on the mend.

“Noting that Lohan drank wine while discussing her sobriety, Powers says the Mean Girls star was ‘constantly looking for drama, whether it was picking a fight with her younger sister... or freaking out over a lost pair of Zanotti heels’,” says Us.

However, it’s the tidbit about Lindsay wanting the “Black Swan” part that’s getting lots of media attention right now, mostly because everybody seems convinced that Lohan will never get back on track, professionally speaking.

While she was once one of the most promising actresses of her generation, too much partying, alleged drug use, trouble with the law and focus on her personal life have made Lindsay a celebrity – and she’s no longer a movie star.
