14 DAY TRIAL // Though she denied it in the past, Lindsay Lohan eventually came clean about her troubled past and substance abuse in an interview in February this year. Also then, the actress, former singer and fashion designer stressed that she’d been sober ever since her last stint in a rehabilitation center. Not quite so, close friends of her are telling TMZ, fearing that she may actually be on the verge of grave danger if she doesn’t get some help as soon as possible.
Recent paparazzi shots (like the photo included with this article) show Lohan apparently in a worse for wear state, though she insists she’s fine. One set of them in particular was taken as Lindsay was trying to make her exit from a club, tripped and fell – as the attached photo also shows. It is precisely here that we have irrefutable proof that Lindsay is off the wagon again and in more desperate need than ever for professional help, unnamed friends say for the aforementioned media outlet.
“The people who care most about Lindsay Lohan believe she desperately needs to get help, but she refuses to listen. A professional who is extremely close to Lindsay confided in TMZ, ‘If she doesn't get help soon, she's going to die’,” TMZ writes. Apparently, things have been getting out of control in Lindsay’s life for a while now – and, by the looks of things, they’re heading to a climax that will be extremely tragic. The same friends now talking to the media insist they’ve been trying to get the star back to rehab but, so far, it’s been to no avail because she won’t listen.
“People who have been trying to help Lindsay over the last year – both professionally and personally – feel something terrible will happen unless she immediately gets help for substance abuse. We are not talking about Michael or Dina Lohan. These are people who have quietly been trying to convince Lindsay to go to rehab again. Lindsay, we're told, is making excuses for her erratic behavior and refusing to acknowledge her problem. After falling Wednesday night when leaving a party, Lindsay Tweeted, ‘Only I would get pushed into a large, sharp plant by crazy paparazzi!!! I need to start wearing more flats:/’” TMZ further informs.
As of now, Lindsay has not commented on this in any way, although, knowing her habit of addressing rumors such as this one on her Twitter, chances are high fans will be hearing from her on it any day now. Keep an eye on this space for when that happens.
