Lindsay Lohan was reportedly caught while trying to sneak out of rehab for Coca Cola

At the end of last month, actress Lindsay Lohan went back to rehab, for the fifth time in her life but of her own will. This week, she was caught trying to sneak out of the Betty Ford Clinic where she’s undergoing detox and rehabilitation.

Lohan’s problems are believed to be as severe as they are numerous: reports in the media say she’s addicted to heavy drugs like cocaine and/or heroine, alcohol, cigarettes and even her Blackberry.

Luckily, the program at Betty Ford prohibits all of these things, including caffeine and even interacting with other addicts, as Hollyscoop has learned.

As fans or gossip lovers would know, Lindsay also loves caffeine and fizzy drinks, both of which are not allowed on the premises of the clinic – so she tried to bust out to get some Coca Cola, Radar Online has learned.

According to the e-zine, the event was something right out of a funny movie, with Lindsay and another patient at the clinic trying to make an inconspicuous run to get some Coke.

“Lindsay Lohan was caught trying to escape the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, California, earlier this week, Radar Online is exclusively reporting. But all Lohan, 24, desperately wanted to score was a coke fix – of the cola variety!” Radar says.

If it hadn’t been for her “accomplice,” whose clothes got caught in the fence she was trying to climb, Lindsay would have gotten her drink.

“The Hollywood wild child attempted to flee the Betty Ford grounds to sneak into the nearby Eisenhower Medical Center, in a bid to buy a soda from a vending machine,” says Radar.

“Lindsay and her co-conspirator were forced to give it up and flag down a volunteer, who was crossing the center’s grounds on a golf cart,” a well-placed source tells the e-zine.

“The pair was safely returned, decaffeinated, to their hall, were they were the center of a process meeting over what they had done,” adds the spy.

Aside from caffeine, making phone calls and watching TV, other things that are off limits at the clinic include: smoking anywhere else but in the designated areas and never when sitting, and fraternizing with the other patients regardless whether they’re male or female.
