14 DAY TRIAL // With only a couple of months to go until she officially retires from the music industry in order to see to her personal life and live like any other “normal” person, Lily Allen is again getting people talking after a series of photos have emerged. After performing in Australia the other day, Lily collapsed and had to be carried by her minders to her car, as she was barely able to stand, the Daily Mail informs.
Lily, as her fans would know, once had serious issues with alcohol, saying of an older gig also in Australia that she remembered she had the time of her life, but that the rest was a complete blank. This is not to say that alcohol was a factor in this most recent collapse but, as it usually happens in such situations, the gossip mill is already turning and so it claims.
“A worse for wear Lily Allen caused a stir at the Big Day Out Festival in Australia yesterday, when she collapsed on the ground. With her make-up smudged and messy hair dripping with sweat, the singer wobbled across the tarmac before stumbling on the floor. The disheveled 24-year-old was being ushered away from the stage at the Claremont Showground in Perth after performing to thousands of fans on the hot summer day. Clearly in high spirits following her set, Lily staggered down the stairs wrapped in a blanket before a minder came to her aid,” the Mail writes.
Photos snapped by paparazzi from a distance do, indeed, show Allen in pretty bad shape, being aided towards her car. Photos also show a barefoot Lily lying on one side on the ground, as her minders are looking on smiling. In fact, this is the only thing that would indicate that this might not have anything to do with some disease or alcohol intoxication, as in all pictures, the people from her entourage are smiling, which could easily mean that Allen was just horsing around and giving the paps and tabs something to gossip about, it is also being said.
“Halfway between the stage and her car, Lily tumbled to the floor. But she clearly wasn’t injured after her laughing associates quickly helped her up again and guided her into the car. Her haphazard appearance appeared to suggest she may have been drinking or perhaps she was just feeling worse for wear due to the sweltering 32c sunshine. Whatever was behind Lily’s strange behavior, she certainly looked ready for a lie down as she finally climbed into the car,” the Mail further says.
