Developed by Ebscer, Liar’s Dice is a new game for the Blackberry platform, which is available starting this week through the Blackberry AppWorld. The simple application is based on the classic dice game of strategy and deception, known in many different cultures by the names Perudo, Dudo, or Cachito.

The game requires players to avoid being caught in a lie, after they bet on the combination between the dice in play and their own dice.

The goal of the game is to catch your opponent, the computer betting too high. You will be able to place bets on both your own dice, which you can see, and your opponent's dice which is hidden.

Each round of the game begins with a bet, and the computer can either call your bet a lie, or to bet higher then you.

After that, it's your turn to call your opponent’s bet or to bet even higher. You win if the bet is not a lie.

Liar's Dice includes two main game modes, the “High Score” mode, which is the default mode, and the “Elimination” mode, in which the loser of each round loses one dice for the following rounds.

Other key features of the game include: High Scores list; Win Percentage Statistics; Achievements; The option to reset High Scores, Win Percentages, and Achievements; Backup/Restore functionality through BlackBerry Desktop Manager.

Those that plan to buy the game must hurry up, as the developer is offering a limited time sale until October 15 th, during which the game will be available in Blackberry AppWorld for $2 USD off of the normal price.

Liars Dice is compatible with any of the following Blackberry devices: 8900, 9500, 9520, 9530, 9550, 9630, 9650, 9700, and 9800. The game requires at least OS 4.7, but the next version of the game will add support for more devices.
