Customers looking to buy the new tablet might want to hold off for a while

A few days ago I told you that the new Lenovo Miix 2 10 was made available for sale on the manufacturer’s official website.

All was nice and swell, but the only problem seemed to be that Lenovo originally announced the slate was going to cost $499 / €368, but we ended up seeing a beefier $699 / €516 price-tag instead.

To understand what happened, Tomshardware spoke to Lenovo, asking them to explain the hefty price difference. Apparently, the $699 / €516 was a mistake and an official representative confirmed the Miix 2 10 would be “priced at $499 in Retail.”

He went on saying that the Lenovo Miix 2 11 would cost $699 / €516 at its arrival in shops in April.

And as promised Lenovo has updated the pricing of the slate, which now starts at $499 / €368 (for the model with 64GB), but drops further to $100 / €74 once you apply the coupon code MIIX10DEAL.
