Not content with just offering sneak peeks at upcoming products or only unveiling a PC at a time, Lenovo decided to take advantage of the relative “tranquility” on the IT market to turn heads with a complete product-portfolio update. Having revealed not just new laptops, but also desktop/AiO PCs, the PC supplier has now unleashed a new nettop known as the IdeaCentre Q150.

The Q150 is meant for those whose "idea of fun is tricking out [one's] living room entertainment center." The nettop is built to be both faster and more stylish than previous-generation solutions. While it uses a slim casing meant to take up as little space as possible, the machine employs NVIDIA graphics and Intel processing power to play back Full-HD videos.

The system configuration is centered on an Intel Atom D510 dual-core central processing unit and includes an NVIDIA ION GPU. Consumers that want a cheaper device can simply forgo this component and settle for an integrated Intel GMA solution, though multimedia capabilities will be limited in such a case.

Regardless of what parts are chosen, however, the nettop will come enclosed inside a chassis only 0.82 inches wide and 6.7 inches high.

"In the less than three years since Lenovo launched its worldwide Idea brand of PCs, we have expanded our consumer footprint to more than 85 countries, firmly establishing our presence in the consumer PC market," Dion Weisler, vice president, Business Operations, Lenovo, said. "Lenovo's consumer business recently achieved 89% year over year growth, outpacing the competition. The latest additions to the Idea portfolio demonstrate Lenovo's commitment to leading the consumer market with stylish, feature-packed PCs that make computing more fun and enjoyable for all."

The IdeaCentre Q150 nettop boasts an optional multimedia remote with an integrated trackball mouse and mini keyboard. It will debut in June, priced at $249.
