A chance to see a few stills from the movie

I don't even want to try estimating the number of fans who can hardly wait for a real Dragonball movie (real as in "with real, human actors") to be released. As you probably already know if you are a fan, such a movie is in the works and it will hit theaters on the 10th of April 2009. However, information regarding Dragonball: The Movie has been scarce and images with the characters do not exist - if we ignore the bunch of fake pictures released in the past.

Things have changed now, since a bunch of images presenting the cast (Goku, Bulma, Master Roshi, Chi Chi and Yamcha) have hit the Internet, thanks to fan site Dragonball The Movie (click here to visit) which got quite a few scans from a Japanese magazine presenting the team.

In an interview with the actors, we can read (if we speak Japanese, that is) that all of them are really happy with how things are going and they're generally delighted with the project. For example, Yun-Fat Chow (Master Roshi) said that even though it was the first time he played a manga-inspired character and he doesn't usually play roles of dudes aged 300, he considered Roshi a very funny guy and appreciated the experience.

One of the most badmouthed actors, Jamie Chung (Chi Chi) also said that she enjoyed filming and tried to do her best, even though it was her first action movie. However, we're really sure that everything went fine and we'll get a true Dragonball experience early next year when the movie is released.

Now, here's your chance to see some of the characters, exactly as they will look on screen. From left to right, these are: Chi Chi, Goku, Bulma, Yamcha and Master Rushi (picture credits: dbthemovie.com)
