Brandi Glanville says singer is too close for comfort

LeAnn Rimes and her “Northern Lights” co-star, Eddie Cibrian, have long gone public with their romance, the affair that led them both to divorce. However, the singer is not happy with just that, Brandi Glanville, Cibrian’s ex, says, as she also wants her life, including her home and her children, as if taking her husband was not enough, as she puts it for Us Magazine.

Rimes bought a house and moved in with Cibrian just around the block from Glanville, the latter says, which is far from her definition of “not awkward.” The singer is too close for comfort and, what’s more important, she’s pulling all the stops to make sure she replaces Brandi in Eddie’s life, including taking her kids away from her. Of course, Glanville is far from simply backing off and letting Rimes have her way, she insists.

“I have a new neighbor and her name is LeAnn Rimes. She’s moved in a half a mile from my house and a block from my son’s school. So she is completely space invading me at the moment so things are not cool.” Glanville says for Us Magazine. Being so close to her son’s school also means that Rimes can stop by anytime she wants and eventually pick him up, despite the fact that neither he nor his brother know of the bitter divorce proceedings that are currently being carried out between their parents.

One thing is clear, though: it’s painful and insulting for Brandi to see Rimes so close to her, describing for the same publication their almost daily encounters as “not pleasant.” “There is a point where she needs to have a sensitive side and back the [expletive] up. Honestly, she’s Single White Female-ing me. She wants my life. She wants my kids. She wants my husband. She can have most of everything but just not my children or my family.” Glanville explains for Us.

With all this, Brandi claims that both she and Eddie Cibrian are trying to “save face” and keep things civil for the sake of the two children they have together. Although she has repeatedly told the media that she doesn’t even know him anymore and that she hopes he drowns in the “unfair fish bowl” he feels trapped in by the media, there is no bad blood between them, Glanville is now saying.
