LeAnn Rimes denies her recent weight loss has anything to do with starving herself or working out too much

For weeks now, a very persistent rumor has been making the rounds, apparently backed up by photos from public appearances: LeAnn Rimes was taking dieting too far and was unhealthily skinny. Not true, she says on Twitter.

She’s always been in great shape, but LeAnn showed the world just how hard she was working on her body in September 2010, when she broke out a two-piece swimsuit for a magazine cover.

Since then, though, she’s definitely lost some weight, which became painfully apparent during a recent public appearance (see attached photo).

Talk of how she was working out too much and, at the same time, starving herself, immediately began. The singer is now taking to her Twitter to deny such claims.

Not only is she healthy and eating right, but she also believes that it’s no one’s business how much she weighs, she says in her tweets.

If she doesn’t pass judgment on others, then why should they feel they’re entitled to do so about her.

“dear lord! I do not workout too much nor do I starve myself. I’m so over this and moving on,” Rimes tweets.

She doesn’t do so without a couple more words for those who dared pick on her for her weight.

“To those who have to turn to other’s lives and judge with no real knowledge of how anyone lives, you can you know what!” she writes on Twitter.

As for claims that she’s starving herself, that’s just bogus and she knows it better than anybody else, since she tweeted all of the above after a very hearty meal.

“well, I swear I just ate 4 chick-fil-a chicken strips, a chicken breast, rice, green beans and a lemon bar,” she explains.

“don’t talk about me like that! Now everyone knows my weight :)- :)-...ok it’s 60lbs...I won’t lie! Seriously, people need to get a life or a hobby,” LeAnn adds with a healthy dose of sarcasm.
