Mobile phone carrier Verizon Wireless is expected to bring to its airwaves in the near future a new set of handsets that will offer support for its 4G LTE network, and Pantech Breakout might be one of them.

The handset was already spotted into the wild before, in relation to Verizon's LTE network, and might be released on shelves before the end of this month, it seems.

Rumor has it that the device would be set to land at Verizon as soon as September 22nd, and that it will pack pretty decent specs too.

Running under Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, the mobile phone will pack Pantech's custom UI on top, and should deliver a unique experience to users.

The specifications list of this device reportedly includes a 1GHz application processor, only a single-core, unfortunately, complemented by only 512MB of RAM.

These specs alone suggest that the new device might be launched as an affordable, mid-level handset, and the rest of the available details on its hardware confirm this.

The Pantech Breakout should pack a four-inch touchscreen display that can deliver a WVGA resolution, and will include 1GB of internal memory. Of course, there will also be a microSD memory card slot so that users could add more storage space into the mix (up to 32GB).

On the back, the upcoming smartphone is expected to feature a 5-megapixel photo snapper, with support for video recording, complemented by a VGA camera on the front, so that users could make video calls.

In addition to LTE, the new mobile phone would also sport CDMA connectivity, as well as WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities, GPS receiver, 3.5mm headphone jack, and the usual set of sensors.

For the time being, no specific detail on the price tag Pantech Breakout might sport has been unveiled, but more should emerge in the near future, so keep an eye on this space for additional info.
