Pretty pricy

Two of the most awaited mobile phones at this time are now available for pre-order at Verizon Wireless. LG Venus and LG Voyager will start shipping in the near future, but customers can make sure that they will be among the first ones to own one through an order placed right now.

There are low chances that LG Venus and LG Voyager will sell so great in the first days of their release that the only solution to getting one should be a pre-order. Still, for those who are sure that they want to make the purchase, an order could make sure that they embark on the race of being among the first ones to own one.

LG Voyager brings the great advantage of a full QWERTY keypad that the iPhone and many other touchscreen enabled handsets gave up. There are many people out there missing the feeling of real buttons and this smartphone manages to relate to that. The phone brings an LG Prada interface and two screens, an internal and external one, both highly evolved.

LG Venus, on the other hand, is one sexy handset that looks to replace the Chocolate device. The special thing about it is that the phone uses a touchscreen below the display for navigation instead of relying on traditional buttons. The practical purpose of this feature is rather questionable, but the handset looks pretty high-end anyway and that counts more than the practical side for some people.

LG Venus is set for release on November 19th and will come at the price of USD 200 on a 2-year contract. LG Verizon's release is also just around the corner, set for November 21st. The handset will be available in stores for the price of USD 300. That's pretty much, especially when considering that for an extra USD 100, the customer can get an iPhone.
