United States users who would like to try out the power of 4G LTE on Verizon Wireless' network are now able to purchase a new smartphone from the carrier for only $0.01 via Amazon until Monday, August 29th.

The LG Revolution and Samsung DROID Charge smartphones are available for only one cent via the online retailer with the signing of a two-year contract agreement, the same as is the HTC ThunderBolt.

At Verizon, the three smartphones would go for much more, yet those who are interested in saving a few bucks should head over to Amazon today to take advantage of the said deal.

The LG Revolution is available for purchase at the retailer here, and is listed as in stock and available with two-day free shipping.

Running under Google's Android 2.2 Froyo platform, the smartphone comes with a large 4.3-inch touchscreen display, 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, a pre-loaded 16 GB microSD memory card, HDMI port, and more.

“In addition to high-speed 4G connectivity, you can also share the built-in Mobile Hotspot via Wi-Fi among up to eight devices--laptop, another phone, MP3 player, and more (additional service charge),” the retailer explains.

Moreover, the mobile phone sports a built-in GPS receiver with support for Google Maps, a 5-megapixel autofocus camera on the back with LED flash and video recording capabilities, 1.3MP front-facing camera, 3.5mm headphone jack and the like.

As for the Samsung DROID Charge, it can be seen at Amazon here, with a 4.3" Super AMOLED Plus screen, 1 GHz Hummingbird processor, and the Android 2.2 OS on board.

The mobile phone also comes with an 8-megapixle photo snapper on the back with HD 720p video capture capabilities, complemented by a 1.3MP front-facer for video calling.

It also includes 2GB of internal memory and a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space, GPS receiver, 4G Mobile Hotspot with support for up to 10 Wi-Fi-capable devices, and more.

“The DROID Charge by Samsung delivers exactly what you'd expect from the collision of Droid power and Verizon 4G LTE network speeds,” Amazon notes on its website.

As stated above, the HTC ThunderBolt was included in the promotion as well, and can be seen at Amazon here.
