There's a high chance that it will, indeed

LG KU990 is one of those devices that everyone is keeping a low profile on. Rumors say that a company spokesman has accidentally revealed information on the release date for this device, which is set towards the end of this month.

LG has good reasons for not hurrying with official statements on the LG KU990 smartphone. This device features several evolved performances that could even make it worthy to stand comparison with the iPhone. Up to this point, we have only seen leaked images of the phone, although, thankfully, they have been real ones and not concept drawings. These have only made it clear that the device already exists and is ready to be launched.

Even the specifications for this smartphone are unofficial, but they sound too good for you not to believe. LG KU990 has a huge 3-inch touchscreen and only two buttons, for placing calls and hanging up. This makes it excellent for watching captures at a high quality and especially YouTube videos.

The fact that it is capable of HSDPA connectivity makes LG KU990 capable of reaching data transfer speeds of up to 3.6 Mbps, enabling high speed data transfers. The display screen is capable of supporting a resolution of up to 320 x 240 pixels and 120 fps. One more highly evolved feature that the smartphone manages to pack is that of the 5-megapixel camera, as few other mobile phones manage to bring nowadays. This will provide captures at a fairly high quality, better than that of most handsets, but lower if we compare with those coming from a digital camera of similar performances.

Information on the close release of the LG KU990 is quite unexpected, as no more news of it has managed to appear over the last period. If the spokesman was telling the truth, we might see the mobile phone hit stores sooner than expected, before the end of August.
