We reported last month that Canadian carrier WIND Mobile announced LG G4 would be available through its official retail channels beginning June 19.

WIND Mobile also stated that it wouldn't take any LG G4 pre-orders, though we couldn't confirm the information in case of other Canadian carriers.

Today, LG Canada announced that the G4 would indeed go on sale in the country on June 19. The smartphone will be available for purchase via Bell, Rogers, Telus, Videotron and WIND Mobile.

Although the official announcement doesn't contain any details on pricing options, the folks over at MobileSyrup claim they have reliable info indicating the LG G4 will sell in Canada for $200 on 2-year agreement, or $700 off contract.

The G4 is already available for purchase in the United States and LG also has some nice promotional offers that go with its flagship smartphone.

No word on promotional offers yet

Unfortunately, it's unclear whether or not some of these promotional offers will be available in Canada as well. We will probably find out more in the coming days.

We also expect that one or more Canadian carriers might have landed exclusive deals for certain LG G4 color options. This has already happened in the United States, so we assume Canadian operators might want to follow the same marketing policy.

Canadian carriers should come forward with official statements in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for more on LG G4's availability in Canada.

“With a breath-taking camera and unique leather-back design, the LG G4 is our most ambitious smartphone yet. It represents an industry game-changer, re-imagining what is possible in smartphone photography, display and design,

“LG Canada is thrilled to join with our carrier partners — Bell, Rogers, TELUS, Videotron and WIND Mobile —to bring this stunning smartphone to the Canadian market,” said Ross Snow, vice-president, Mobile Communications, LG Electronics Canada.
