On May 27, South Korean mobile phone maker LG Electronics should make official a new flagship smartphone running under the Android operating system, namely the LG G3, and some more leaked photos with the device are now available.

Unlike the previously leaked images with the device, however, the new photos show it in a Gold color flavor, supposedly confirming that LG will release the handset in such a variant as well, just as rumored a few months ago.

Available courtesy of GSMArena, said photos are also accompanied by a series of details on what the phone will have to offer in terms of specs and features.

Apparently, the smartphone will indeed feature a 13-megapixel camera on the back, with Optical Image Stabilization capabilities, the same as the LG G Pro2. Moreover, it will also be able to record videos in 4K resolution.

The smartphone will also sport LED flash next to the camera, along with the power and volume buttons beneath it, the same as the LG G2 did last year.

Moreover, it is now said to come to the market with a laser beam(er) next to the camera, so as to provide users with the possibility to take better photos at night.

The phone has been discovered to pack a new sort of sensor next to the main camera, yet no specific details on what it could be have been provided as of now.

Rumor has it that the front camera will come with its own set of new features as well, such as support for voice commands for taking selfies and more.

LG G3 is also expected to arrive on shelves with a 5.5-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) touchscreen display capable of delivering a 534ppi pixel density, just as LG confirmed yesterday.

Moreover, the handset should include a 2.5GHz quad-core processor, as well as 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal memory. A microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes will also be present inside the phone, it seems.

LG G3 should be powered by a 3000mAh battery, while said to include all the usual set of connectivity capabilities and sensors. It will be water-resistant too, with an IPX7.

The flagship smartphone is said to run under the latest flavor of the Android operating system, with LG’s own set of customizations loaded on top. Apparently it will come with the vendor’s own Google Now-like service, which will provide recommendations on places, along with weather info.
