According to the latest news on the Web, a new LG phone, the CF750, has recently passed through FCC's courtyard, bearing AT&T's logo. Moreover, it seems that the new handset resembles a lot the LG “Secret” phone that is marketed globally, both in what concerns its looks as well as in terms of its specification list.

The FCC documents that have been published on the Web recently show that the new LG CF750 mobile phone comes around with a hidden touch D-pad, along with a 5-megapixel photo snapper that sports flash and video recording capabilities, and a carbon fiber back plate, just like Secret does.

In addition, the photos with the handset also show that it comes in a sliding form factor, while sporting dedicated music controls. Global GSM and U.S. 3G (850/1900) connectivity will be included in the package, according to FCC documents, while a Bluetooth SIG filing shows stereo Bluetooth capabilities.

In addition, the LG CF750 is also expected to come with a memory card slot for additional storage space and multimedia capabilities, a media player included, while the draft user manual shows that AT&T will be the carrier to release it in the United States. A standard AT&T menu is also mentioned, with options like AT&T GPS, AT&T Music, Yellow Pages, MEdia Net and MEdia Mall, as well as Video Share, another service offered by the cell phone operator.

So far, neither AT&T nor the Korean phone maker LG have announced the new device for the US, yet they are expected to make a move in this regard in the near future. There are no details on a possible release date of the handset, nor on the price tag it might feature. Stay tuned to learn more as soon as the info becomes available.
