Rockstar Games has shined some light on the special features that will be incorporated in the upcoming L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition for the PC platform, ranging from support for Nvidia's 3D Vision, to special things like the ability to select anti-aliasing, anisotropic filtering and more.

Rockstar has made it clear that it still cares about the PC platform, especially after once again saying that Red Dead Redemption will remain exclusive to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles.

Now, with L.A. Noire coming to the PC, after appearing earlier this year for the PS3 and Xbox 360, the company is keen on highlighting the special features incorporated by Rockstar Leeds in new edition.

Speaking with IGN, Rockstar's Jeronimo Barrera, VP of Product Development, highlighted some of the new options available for PC players.

"3D support is exclusive to PC, and is provided by Nvidia's 3D Vision system," Barrera said. "We implemented 3D in a way that adds an overall depth and realism to the world, bringing out the finer details of the game, rather than overwhelming the player. You'll appreciate subtle aspects of the game's design, like cigarette smoke trails, falling specks of ash and rays of sunlight through shaded windows look amazing in 3D."

"We've also included a wide range of graphic and performance-specific customization for the PC version. Players can set resolution, framerate, anti-aliasing (up to 6X), anisotropic filtering (up to 4X) and SSAO. Players can also set user interface scaling, shadows, textures, lighting and overall level of detail. Full keyboard mapping is also user-customizable, and plug-and-play gamepad support is available for players that would rather use a controller instead."

Overall, Barrera congratulated the team at Rockstar Leeds for getting the game on the PC platform ready in record time, and emphasized that "the PC version looks and performs fantastically, even at minimum system requirements."

L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition is out for the PC on November 8, in North America, and November 11, in Europe.
