Rockstar Games has just announced what sort of benefits members of its Social Club service will get when registering their upcoming copy of L.A. Noire, including a special suit, extra hints in-game as well as extensive tracking of their virtual adventures.

L.A. Noire is going to appear in two weeks from now all over the world, being developed by Team Bondi and published by Rockstar Games.

We've already heard quite a lot of things about the detective title, which is set to feature some unique technologies.

Now, Rockstar has announced what sort of features players will get when they register their copy of the game with the Rockstar Games Social Club.

Those that do this will get access to an exclusive in-game suit, called the Chicago Lightning, which not only looks pretty good, but also gives the protagonist, Cole Phelps, increased accuracy when using a shotgun or machine gun.

Players who are connected to the Rockstar Social Club when playing L.A. Noire are also going to have access to a special "Ask the Community" feature, which allows you to consult the community during your investigations in the game.

Last but not least, the Social Club website is also going to offer players a "wealth of robust game progress stat tracking and friend comparison features that members have come to expect, including enhanced versions of the checklists that everyone loved with Red Dead Redemption."

If you want to have access to all these impressive features, you just need to have a free Social Club account and register your copy of the game with it when L.A. Noire is going to be released, on May 17, in North America, and May 20, in Europe and the UK, for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles.
