it's not clear what genre or story the game will deliver

A company called Kennedy Miller Mitchell Interactive is set to do the bulk of the development work on Whore of the Orient, the new video game project from Brenadan McNamara, the man behind L.A. Noire.

The company is owned by Geroge Miller, who is best known as a film creator, and it seems that the new game will be linked to Shanghai, a city that has been described as being the Paris of the East and also the whore of the Orient.

Brendan McNamara talked about his new project earlier during November, saying that he planned to tackle one of the greatest big narrative events of the XX century.

It seems that Kennedy Miller Mitchell Interactive has developers from both Krome and Team Bondi, two studios that no longer exist.

Mitchell stated, “With the government’s support we can immediately go forward with two games. It’s not immediately obvious but the potential in the video games sector is massive. Just from the statistics people are showing me, it’s a $60 billion industry fast-tracking towards $90 billion.”

He then talked about L.A. Noire and its performance, adding, “Look at LA Noire, they sold about 3 million units in a week, about $US135 million ($130 million) net revenue, off a cost base which was infinitely lower than even your average low-budget film.”

L.A. Noire was long in development before the team at Rockstar decided to work with Team Bondi on their ambitious project.

The game has some of the best acting and facial tracking in the world of games and boasted some very interesting conversation and interrogation section.

At the same time it failed to impress gamers with its game world and its action elements.

After the game was launched Team Bondi closed down with reporters talking about major disagreements with Rockstar over their next project.
