Most likely, Game Informant will be the one that will deal with the game

Ever since Rockstar got its hands on it in 2006, not much has been heard about Team Bondi's L.A. Noire. In fact, for almost four years since the game entered development, Rockstar has been quiet as a mouse and has barely spoken a word about the title.

The only thing it did say was back in September, and to call the statement scant would be an understatement. All it did was assure us that the project hadn't been shut down and that it was "coming along quite splendidly." But the game finally got a change in pace last week, and when the company had a few other topics to talk about with the public, it also squeezed the L.A. Noire subject into the discussion.

While talking about Red Dead Redemption, and also answering the "Rockstar Spouse" incident, the studio took the opportunity to make an announcement about its upcoming depiction of "a perfectly re-created Los Angeles" of the 1940s, which is mostly an advertisement trick, since nobody that was alive back in 1940 and knew the city is going to play the game to confirm it for us. As for the actual game-related news, Rockstar explained that the "long-awaited reveal" would be made next month, via a printed magazine.

"There will be something great to see soon – a proper in-depth look at the game and why it is so ground breaking and innovative, both in terms of the game's design and the amazing new technology to support it," Rockstar wrote in the Rockstar Games' Asked & Answered section. "Expect to see a long-awaited reveal via a big cover story next month." Most likely, the magazine that will cover the game will be Game Informant, since Rockstar has had past collaborations with the publication, which also gave us a first peak at Grand Theft Auto IV and Max Payne 3.
