Pop star Kylie Minogue made a sizzling comeback on the televised music competition that has her sister as judge, X Factor, to perform her latest single off the “Aphrodite” album, “Better Than Today.”

The petite singer popped up on stage in a fiery red frilly little dress by Mark Fast, matched with silver, spiked Louboutins that made dancing for her a bit too complicated at times, since she slipped on the glassy floor.

However, Kylie handled this minor setback with utmost grace and kept up with the routine as her backup dancers – while also making sure she didn’t miss a beat.

As the Herald Sun notes, sister Dannii looked admiringly on – and deemed Kylie’s performance so good at the end that it deserved a “ten out of ten.”

“The 42-year-old star sang her new track Better Than Today and was cheered on by her younger sister Dannii, who was watching from behind the judging panel,” the HS says.

“Afterwards she told host Dermot O’Leary it was great to be back on the show. She has already performed on the coveted X Factor stage once before and has also helped Dannii pick her acts in the past,” the same publication informs.

Also then, Kylie revealed “Better Than Today” would soon be available for digital purchase, while also mentioning she was going on tour in February next year to support her latest album.

Before the performance, which was received with very warm praise by both X Factor fans and the British media, Kylie took to Twitter to share some of the excitement she was feeling.

“We just want tomorrow to be #BetterThanToday :) #XFactor Sunday night... here I come!!!!” she tweeted before Sunday’s show.

“WhoooOoOP @DanniiMinogue #TeamMinogue!!!” she added.

“The boys rocked the X Factor last night :-) See you tonight sista,” Dannii responded on her own Twitter.
