14 DAY TRIAL // Kristen Stewart never thought she'd cheat on Robert Pattinson because the thought never really crossed her mind. If anything, she was “lured” into whatever thing she had with married director Rupert Sanders, says a new report.
Since the scandal broke a short while ago, speculation on what might have happened has been rampant.
Useless to say, fans of “The Twilight Saga” still hope Kristen and her cheated boyfriend of 3 or 4 years Robert Pattinson will still make it through, reconcile and put this scandal behind her.
He has to forgive her first, and there are serious indications he has no intention of doing that.
Even so, sources tell the glossies that Kristen never set out to cheat on Robert with Sanders, who directed her in “Snow White and the Huntsman,” Hollywood Life reports.
If anything, she was the victim in all this, succumbing to his advances after months of hot pursuit.
“A lot of words have been thrown around to downplay Kristen Stewart's confirmed affair with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, words like 'momentary indiscretion' and 'storm in a teacup',” HL writes.
“But a new report uses a very different, more pointed word to describe Rupert's feelings towards his young ingenue: 'infatuated',” adds the same celebrity e-zine.
He became infatuated with her when they were working on “Snow White” and pursued her relentlessly until she fell helpless into his arms – or so says one of those unnamed sources it happened.
“Rupert had been infatuated with [Kristen] since the production [of SWATH], but she always kept it professional because she loved [Robert Pattinson]. She still does. It only became a flirtation recently, and she was lured into a brief situation that she never wanted,” the spy is quoted as saying.
Be that as it may, she still managed to break his heart and drive him away. Recent reports say he's nearly drowning in a puddle of his own tears, still trying to figure out how she could betray him like this – and failing to.
Rob is now believed to be at Reese Witherspoon's ranch in California but he's scheduled to make his first appearance in two weeks or so, when he's due to start promoting his latest film, “Cosmopolis,” which premiered at Cannes earlier this year.
