Kourtney Kardashian and boyfriend Scott Disick welcomed their first child together, a healthy baby boy, in mid-December. Since then, the reality star has been working hard to get her pre-pregnancy body back and, by the looks of the cover of the latest issue of Life & Style magazine, she’s nearly there, having already lost most, if not all of the extra weight.

Kourtney, who made a habit of speaking to the media about the changes occurring in her body throughout the pregnancy, is now proud to unveil her swimsuit-ready body and to tell other women out there how she did it. Consequently, she’s posing for the cover of the aforementioned magazine in a two-piece, red bathing suit that shows off her toned abdomen and slim thighs. She’s also speaking about how she got this toned and how much she’s still to go to get her dream body.

In the meanwhile, though, both she and Scott are thrilled that she’s finally got back in good shape. “I feel good! I’m just starting to get comfortable being in a bikini again. I’m excited. Scott told me recently that he could tell my body was changing. He also said he could tell I’m noticing it because I’ll do these stupid dances in the mirror. He’s always complimentary. He loved my post-baby body, but I think he’s excited I’m getting my old body back too,” the reality star says.

Though she did gain some extra weight while pregnant, Kourtney is now almost back to her old self. She still has a few pounds she needs to lose, but she’s in no hurry, she explains. “I have a few pounds until I get back to what I was before: 100 pounds. But I feel comfortable. I weigh about 107 pounds,” Kourtney explains. Judging by the photo on the cover, she has every reason in the world to be “comfortable” in her own skin right now.

Though it’s clear that she’s lost the weight and is in excellent shape, as countless paparazzi shots online can easily confirm, voices in the blogosphere say that having the magazine shamelessly Photoshop Kourtney to look thinner is sending out the wrong message to all women (and young mothers, as well) out there. On the other hand, a while back, Kourtney got very upset when another weekly retouched a picture to make her seem much thinner than she was, so it’s likely she wouldn’t agree to it in this case either.
