A few days ago, Kirstie Alley took to Twitter to boast about dropping no less than 50 pounds on her weight loss product, sending skeptics into a frenzy of speculation about how it might all have been just Photoshop magic.

Thanks to one Softpedia reader and Starzlife, new confirmation has come to light that, indeed, the photo the star uploaded on her Twitter had been altered to show just what she wanted it to show.

In other words, chances that Alley has actually lost the weight she says she has are slim to none at this point.

Cue to the aforementioned Starzlife, which even has photos to prove Alley still has a long way to go until she gets to the weight shown in the pic attached to this article.

“Kirstie Alley after she claims she lost 50lbs. Kirstie is leaving a Pilate studio in Loz Feliz with her daughter Lillie. Kirstie sent out a tweet saying she lost 50 pounds and only 30 to go. Maybe she is just wearing a really big shirt,” the e-zine wrote on September 29.

Indeed, pictures on the website show Kirstie in black pants and an oversized white shirt that makes her look almost twice as heavy than she does in the picture she posted on Twitter.

“Kirstie has recently claimed on twitter that she’s lost 50 lbs, and only has 30 more to go, but Starzlife has found an EXCLUSIVE message from those 50 lbs. to Kirstie in which they claim: ‘We found you’,” the same e-zine writes a day later, next to a fresh batch of photos.

These show Kirstie without makeup and her hair a mess (not that these two matter), and still not even half as slim as shown in the Twitter pic in which she boasted about her fantastic weight loss.

As a side note, we have nothing against Kirstie: either heavy or slim, she remains the same actress we fell in love with in “Veronica’s Closet.”

However, just like many other people (celebrity bloggers in particular), if Kristie had the “after weight loss” photo retouched, we too believe she’s bending the truth to sell her Organic Liaison product.
