14 DAY TRIAL // Proving that there isn’t one thing that she can’t do, Kim Kardashian is currently in the studio, working on what will be her first music album. It’s not a rumor anymore, her good friend La La Vasquez has confirmed it.
People magazine notes that rumors about Kim’s rather unexpected career change started to circulate about a month ago. Even though the reality star is yet to confirm them, her friend is here to do the job for her.
La La Vasquez says reports that Kardashian is in the studio with big-time producers like The Dream are true. Moreover, the album is coming along just nicely, she says.
“Of course I’ve heard her sing, and I’m very impressed with her voice. It’s not that I didn’t think she could sing before, but it just wasn’t something that we talked about,” Vasquez says about her friend’s dreams of a career in pop.
Apparently, Kim has always wanted to be a singer but, until now, she never found someone to inspire her with the confidence she needed to actually get herself in the studio and to work on a material of her own.
That is, until The Dream came into the picture. He’s good friends with Kim and also a highly esteemed music producer – therefore, he had all he needed to get her to try her hand at singing.
“I think it takes somebody to bring out your confidence in something like that. And The Dream is an amazing producer, and I think it gave her the courage to go out there and try it,” La La Vasquez says.
While no word yet on when the world may get to listen to Kim’s first music album, she is, as of now, the highest paid reality star of the year, as we also informed you a short while ago.
Rumors may be coming in saying that the Kardashian fashion empire is thisclose to coming apart, but the undeniable fact is that Kim Kardashian made $6 million in 2010 alone – and her income will be even bigger if she gets a pop career off the ground.
