Kensington has been on a roll lately, coming out with a whole new range of products that target several significant segments of the consumer electronics market. And one of these specific segments is that of FM transmitters, where the company has released a whole new family of such devices, dubbed LiquidFM and featuring Kensington's ClearFM technology for crisper, clearer sound, as well as several other interesting features.

The LiquidFM family consists of two FM transmitters made for the iPod and two FM transmitters designed for use with MP3 players and MP3-enabled cell phones. All of the devices included in the new series share a basic set of very interesting functions, including here ClearFM technology for enhanced audio quality, QuickSeek technology for finding the clearest station in seconds, an RDS feature that allows the user to view the song's and artist's names on a car's stereo screen, charging capabilities through a USB connection as well as connectors that work with iPod or MP3 players in a protective case. However, each of the models provides certain interesting particular features, as for example the digital LCD displays, advanced charging functions, extra connectivity options and more.

"As a result of our unique Smart Made Simple approach to product development, we conduct in-depth consumer research, so we know what consumers want most. We also understand their pain points," explained Kevin Ngo, Global Product Manager for Kensington. "The LiquidFM line provides enhanced functionality and greater choices," Ngo added, then going on to say that Kensington strives to maintain compatibility with leading-edge technologies delivering the best possible experience to the consumer.

The Liquid FM line includes the LiquidFM Deluxe for iPod, which retails for around $99.99, the Kensington LiquidFM for iPod (MSRP of $79.99), the Kensington LiquidFM Plus for MP3 Players (which will sell for around $69.99) and the Kensington LiquidFM for MP3 Players (which sells for around $49.99).
