Kensington Computer Products Group today announced the launch of a line of computer input devices which are gathered under the general name of SlimBlade Lifestyle Collection and are aimed at both mobile computer users and at desktop systems. The highlights of these new products are rich feature sets that are combined with a simple design in order to create a line of computer products that are able to work ''flawlessly and intuitively''.

This new family of computer input devices is the culmination of Kensington's Smart Made Simple philosophy which is aimed at simplifying all aspects of computer technology while providing stylish and high performance and quality accessories that feature a sleek and modern design combined with classic and pleasant colors like deep wine, graphite and ice blue.

''With SlimBlade, we set out to create the perfect computing accessories for traveling executives", said Juan Ernesto Rodriguez, Senior Global Product Manager, Kensington. ''So, we started from scratch and focused on their needs and lifestyle. Traveling executives need to get the most out of their computers in all the settings that comprise a full mobile experience, be it an office desk, an airport seat, a hotel room, or their sofa at home,'' added Rodriguez. ''SlimBlade features the first mobile trackball, which allows road warriors to 'mouse' on literally any surface. Our media and presenter mice give them the essential controls to take charge of their work and their lifestyle. The modular notebook set gives them the flexibility to use only the components that they need, separately or in tandem. And yet all of these unique solutions are unified by elegant shapes and intuitive controls that supports the multiple layers of technology that are built into each product.''

As an integral part of the SlimBlade family of products Kensington launched a number of computer mice like the Presenter Mouse which is specially optimized for presentations as it comes with a sleek and ultra thin design that is coupled with a laser sensor. Another mouse, the Media model, comes in a deep red wine color and it combines the features offered by a standard computer mouse with those found on a media controller. The Presenter Media Mouse is a more complete model that combines the general specifications of the two afore mentioned mice into a single design.

For those users that remember the old trackball, Kensington presents the Trackball Mouse that allows users to work even in places where there is no room to move a mouse and it can transform back into a traditional computer mouse with just one button click. The keyboard and remote control newly announced by Kensington come under the general designation of Media Notebook Set and thanks to its innovative design and features, users may easily rearrange it into whatever combination strikes their fancy.

The new keyboard comes with a wireless built-in module which is extended to the detachable 17 keys numeric keypad. The wireless module has an operational range of 10 meters and thanks to its micro USB receiver, it can be used with every computer system that has a free USB port.
