The crowd at the Radio City Music Hall, where the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards took place last night, was far from happy when rapper Kanye West stormed on stage during Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech and rudely interrupted her to say Beyonce should have won Best Female Video. However, it wasn’t only fans that were unhappy, since Kelly Clarkson also found the interruption inappropriate – and she says so herself in a blog post written specifically for Kanye.

For starters, the rapper was out of line because he wasn’t even nominated in the category where Taylor won (understandable, since it was for Best Female Video), therefore he had no right to speak his mind, Kelly says in the post. Secondly, before rushing to the stage and taking the microphone from Taylor’s hand so that he could speak, he should have thought Swift was young and just getting started with her career – so he should have just let her enjoy her moment.

“Dear Kanye, What happened to you as a child?? Did you not get hugged enough?? Something must have happened to make you this way and I think we’re all just curious as to what would make a grown man go on national television and make a talented artist, let alone teenager, feel like [expletive]. I mean, I’ve seen you do some pretty [bad] things, but you just keep amazing me with your tactless, [expletive] ways. It’s absolutely fascinating how much I don’t like you. I like everyone.” Kelly writes.

Then, the original American Idol goes to say that she even likes her ex-boyfriend that cheated on her, yet she still doesn’t like Kanye, which is weird, since she doesn’t even know him personally. With all this, for many, actions speak louder than words and, in Kanye’s case, rushing on stage to rain on Taylor’s parade was a truly despicable thing to do. For this, Kelly can’t but say that Kanye West is a “sad human being” who deserves only pity, if anything at all.

“The best part of this evening is that you weren’t even up for THIS award and yet you still have a problem with the outcome. Is winning a moon man that much of a life goal?? You can have mine if it will shut you up. Is it that important, really?? I was actually nominated in the same category that Taylor won and I was excited for her… so why can’t you be?? I’m not even mad at you for being an [expletive]… I just pity you because you’re a sad human being.” Clarkson concludes by saying.
