14 DAY TRIAL // Reality star and mother of 8 Kate Gosselin has found love again after her bitter divorce from ex-husband Jon Gosselin and repeatedly lamenting that she did not have time to date again. His name is Jeff Prescott, he’s a divorcee and father of 3, and a millionaire.
The two have actually been dating since last October, but Kate denied the rumors in a January interview, even saying that she couldn’t date because the man who would take her with all her baggage would have to be Superman, quite literally.
Photos have emerged to confirm that the romance is still on, and even heating up.
Kate and Jeff step out on romantic date
Entertainment Tonight has obtained photos of Kate and her new man, whom we might as well call Superman considering her previous statements.
Jeff picked her up at her Pennsylvania home and then drove her to Talula’s Garden in Philadelphia. This is where the photo attached to this article was snapped: the couple had a very “intimate” dinner by the candlelight, with eyewitnesses saying that they acted very much like a couple.
In other words, when Kate denied the rumors that she was dating and insisted that she was still single (but quite open to the idea of seeing someone again after all these years), she was lying.
“After dining, Jeff and Kate hit up a casino where the reality star and the wealthy entrepreneur spent the night gambling, partying, and getting close at the tables,” the report says.
He picked up the bill for both, and they spent a lot of time “sneaking kisses and getting affectionate,” while gambling. They called it a night at well past 1 in the morning, and left together.
Kate Gosselin keeps a tight grip on her image
Kate and Jon Gosselin got divorced in 2009, and if we’re to believe her, she’s been single all these years, struggling as a single mother without nannies or extra help, trying to make ends meet.
On the other hand, word on the street is that she dated her married bodyguard way before she and Jon called it quits, and that she continued to see him even after his wife found out about the affair and threatened to walk out.
Also allegedly, Kate doesn’t do all the work around the house alone: she has nannies and helpers and assistants, so that, at one point, the only time she spent with the kids was when there were cameras around.
Even assuming that not all these rumors are true, it’s probably safe to assume that Kate Gosselin rules her life and her career with an iron fist, keeping a very tight grip on her image. It’s important for her to have the public perceive her as a struggling working mother (of 8, no less!), which probably explains why she denied dating the millionaire when confronted on camera about it.
