After going public with their romance and even defying the wrath of the Beliebers, lovebirds Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are getting serious about their relationship: they are now in Canada, where she’s met his parents and his friends.

After the Billboard Music Awards 2011, Justin and Selena left for Hawaii, where they spent their time engaging in PDAs, beach activities and working on their tans.

They are now in Canada, where Justin introduced Selena to his parents, the rest of his family and, of course, his closest friends at home, PopEater reports.

“The pair are in Canada, visiting Justin’s father, Jeremy, and his half siblings, Jazmyn and Jaxon. The happy family was spotted in a local park where Gomez looked as though she’d known them all for ages as she played with the young children,” says the e-zine.

“They spent some time on the swings pushing the adorable little tots, and Justin and Selena even managed to squeeze in a cozy stroll alone, where they walked holding hands and gazing into one another’s eyes,” PopEater notes.

It further says that this new display of affection from the two might get fans even more upset, because it will come to confirm that this is not just a fling but a more serious romance.

As we also informed you the other day, a fresh wave of hateful comments and death threats is now being directed at Selena after her Hawaii trip with The Biebs, with his fans wishing her the worst because she “stole” him from them.

Being the most popular teen idol in the world does come with disadvantages, especially for the person dating said idol – Selena, in this case.

This is the second time that she’s coming under fire from the Beliebers – and the second time she is getting death threats for the romance, as we also noted on a previous occasion.
