When the name of Kate Major first emerged in the press, it was in connection with “Jon & Kate Plus 8” star Jon Gosselin. She claimed to be his lover, he denied any involvement. She said he promised her he would make her his PA, he called her a shameless liar. Radar Online has now irrefutable proof that Major, dubbed Kate 2.0 in the media, was, in fact, speaking the truth.

A while ago, Kate Major did a few interviews with the tabloids and glossy magazines, revealing, among other things, how she had fallen for Gosselin. Admittedly, he had promised to make her his personal assistant, which is why she quit her job with Star magazine, for which she was working when she met him. Gosselin, on the other hand, was this close to denying even that he knew her by name, saying she was lying both about the affair and the so-called job he had promised her.

As Radar can now prove, Jon Gosselin and Kate Major once signed a contract virtually putting her in charge of some aspects of his business career. “I, Jon Gosselin, will employ Kate Major as a personal assistant handling some but not all future accounts. She will be a sub-contractor. She will receive a percentage of accounts for payment based upon involvement,” Mr. Gosselin wrote on the contract. How this will influence the war he’s waging against TLC – and the other way around – is yet to be determined.

Be that as it may, Gosselin was not the only one to sign his name under a set of conditions and stipulations binding him and Major together. She too agreed to certain terms in exchange for the position she was to occupy, that of a personal assistant working directly under him. Among them is also that she would not discuss private matters with the media or, if she had any plans to do so, that she would first take the matter to Jon and have his seal of approval before doing any kind of interview.

“In her part of the contract Kate wrote, ‘Jon and I will not comment publicly about our relationship.’ The reality TV dad later denied having a romantic relationship with Major, who responded with angry and teary TV interviews, recounting their weeks-long relationship. Radar Online has learned that the document was written during a weekend the couple spent together in a hotel. Kate appeared to be replacing Hailey Glassman as the love interest of the Jon & Kate Plus 8 star. Kate 2.0 promised in writing, to ‘run any media inquiries past Jon Gosselin before doing any on-air or print work.’ She pledged to give Jon approval over questions and exclude questions he nixed,” Radar writes of Major’s part of the hand-written contract.
