14 DAY TRIAL // John Stamos is a funny guy. Not only is he incredibly handsome, but he’s also hilarious, his (mostly female) fans would argue – which is probably why Ryan Seacrest did not take to heart the joke he made on Jimmy Kimmel about his orientation.
That Ryan Seacrest is gay is one of those rumors that will never go away, no matter what.
As is the case with actor Jake Gyllenhaal, the American Idol presenter can date even the hottest woman on the planet (which he is, Julianne Hough), and he’s still plagued by the gay rumor.
It’s no wonder then that Stamos took a jab at it when he did an interview with Kimmel earlier this week, as the video below will confirm.
On the show to promote his upcoming August stint on “Hairspray,” after exchanging pleasantries with his host for the evening about how much weight he lost, Stamos went straight to the heart of the matter: speaking about his character in the play / musical.
He doesn’t get to wear a dress like John Travolta did in the big screen adaptation and, contrary to what people might say, he doesn’t even have that good of a singing voice either.
“I play Corny Collins, he’s sort of a DJ, he hosts a music show,” Stamos says. “Sort of like a straight Ryan Seacrest!” he adds as the audience cheers and laughs.
As if apologizing for the slip-up, Stamos adds, “It’s okay, Ryan’s a friend, we’ve kissed.”
This only offers Kimmel material for his next joke, about how one of the Jonas brothers will also be in the play and will probably get to make out with the handsome actor too.
On the same note, Stamos recalled how his voice lessons once ruined his date, when one of them came up on his iPod during a hot date and the woman in question thought they were meant for something else.
